SEAFOOD RANGOON:
INGREDIENTS:
10 madium -sized prawns
100 gms hammour fillet
10 gms chopped spring onion
1 tsp sesame oil
20 gms cornstarch, diluted in water
12 wanton wrappers
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the sauce:
30 gms canned pineapple
1 red chilli, chopped
50 gms canned sambal olek
100 ml water
METHOD:
Mince prawns and fish coarsely and mix well with spring onion, sesame oil and season with salt and pepper. Divide the mixture equally into 12 portions and fill each wrapper with it. Fold it well and coat it with the diluted cornstarch. Deep - fry in medium hot oil till golden brown. Serve hot with sauce.
Sauce:Chop pineapple and chilli.Mix all the ingredients and bring it to boil. Simmer it till you achieve the desired consistency.
