FISH AND CHIPS

FISH AND CHIPS:

INGREDIENTS(serves 1)
 200 g Haddock fillet
French fries,to serve
285ml Bavari or other non-alcoholic beer,
1 red onion, diced
1 egg
50gm flour
Half a lemon, squeezed
20g capers,diced
20g gherkins,diced
50g mayonnaise
Vinegar,a few drops
Mushy peas, to serve

METHOD:
In a large bowl, make the fish batter by mixing together egg, flour, non- alcoholic beer and a drop of vinegar .Mix well to ensure there are no lumps. Set this mixture aside.
Tartar sauce: Mix together red onions,gherkins, capers, mayonnaise and lemon juice. 
To batter the fish: First cover in floir, then dip into the batter mix.Heat oil in a wok and deep -fry the fish until it turns golden . Drain excess oil. Serve with chips, tartar sauce and mushy peas.
